Ten years ago we were introduced to the idea of producing a skin care system by a surgeon in Arizona, who wanted a product containing lactic acid, a natural alpha-hydroxy acid derived from milk. The surgeon knew how the small molecular size of this acid is very beneficial in allowing it to penetrate the skin and help remove and exfoliate dead skin cells. The surgeon had hired chemists to follow a formula for his skin care products, but the chemists were unable to come up with a base that would keep the milk from souring and curdling in the final product.

The surgeon then called a world-renowned milk chemist from Logan, Utah who was a close associate and mentor of Lauris Davis. These two milk chemists were able to develop the special process needed to produce the milk base with the lactic acid and other valuable proteins, vitamins and minerals. Initial responses to these products were very favorable. Unfortunately, after a short time, the surgeon and the mentor passed away, and Lauris took a job as a technical support manager with the dairy division of a world-wide company.

In 2007, after becoming tired of the constant travel and corporate politics of “big” business, Lauris followed the counsel of his wife, Rese, and again began making these milk-based skin care products. Rese is an accountant and business manager who has had extensive experience both with skin care products and running a small business.

We believe you will notice a smoother feel as our products soothe and moisturize your skin. These products also penetrate your skin to gently aid in exfoliation of dead skin cells, thereby promoting healthy skin cell turnover. Where other products simply contain milk, our milk base is processed to derive the beneficial aspects of the lactic acid and other protein and vitamin components of the milk.
